  1. understand the current shift in language and terminology to focus on cultural and linguistic strengths of individual students, families, and communities;
  2. articulate the key changes from the 2015 position statement to the 2023 position statement; and
  3. identify systems change levers in their practice to better support multilingual students, families, and communities.

Description

In this presentation, experts who helped develop the upcoming position statement "The Provision of School Psychological Services to Multilingual Students," provide depth and highlight new knowledge about supporting multilingual learners.
