  1. explain caregiver attachment and its effects on youth well-being;
  2. consider attachment in light of developing technology, cultural backgrounds, and gender roles; and
  3. provide practical recommendations for supporting students from a family-systems lens.

Description

Understanding how parents connect with their children provides insight about student experiences and behaviors. Implications for school-based practice are discussed with a focus on providing support from a family-systems perspective.
