Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. learn about the many ways that prereferral team meetings can be infused with principles of data based decision making, and become an integrated component of an RTI or MTSS model;
  2. learn strategies for discussing the importance of utilizing a problem solving approach when conducting prereferral or intervention planning meetings; and
  3. learn about methods for providing performance feedback to teams and teachers, as well as infusing evidence-based practices into current naturally occurring intervention blocks in the school day.
