  2. understand the definition and impacts of chronic absenteeism, and
  3. develop strategies to address chronic absenteeism through improving school climate.

Description

Each one-point decrease in students' ratings of school safety is linked with a 1.86-fold increase in students' likelihood of being chronically absent. School climate interventions can improve chronic absenteeism.
