Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. gain a clear understanding of the components of a ML literacy classroom;
  2. more effectively and efficiently collaborate with SLPs in the possible diagnosis of LD, SLI, or dyslexia; and
  3. readily apply the components of literacy to develop interventions that specifically address the unique literacy needs of ML learners.

Description

This workshop is designed for both the monolingual and multilingual school psychologists on how to collaborate with SLPs in addressing the unique literacy development of multilingual children.
