  1. recognize the impact perfectionism has on students' mental health and school performance;
  2. identify perfectionism using research-based measures of perfectionistic traits among students; and
  3. adapt and implement a Cognitive-Behavioral Model of Clinical Perfectionism for children and adolescents.

Description

Perfectionism can significantly affect students' mental health. This presentation reviews the literature on perfectionism, evidence-based tools to identify perfectionistic behavior, and the Cognitive-Behavioral Model of Clinical Perfectionism.
