Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. examine their current beliefs and practices related to report writing, presenting to teams or doing child feedback sessions;
  2. increase skills in using question-led assessment, generating themes from the data and structuring feedback to answer the generated questions through case study practice;
  3. build competency in fable writing for child feedback session through guided practice; and
  4. be ready to implement this model of assessment feedback by addressing common obstacles such as time, training, and tradition.

Description

This session demonstrates how meaningful feedback practices informed by therapeutic assessment can be integrated into schools. Skill-development focuses on writing theme-based reports and conducting child feedback sessions, including fable writing.
