Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. describe current consultation training and practice related to five priority areas: (a) implementation science, (b) system-level consultation, (c) culturally relevant consultation, (d) school–family partnerships, and (e) teleconsultation;
  2. learn more about the relationships between consultants’ training, beliefs, and practices in these five areas; and
  3. identify the barriers and facilitators to effective, relevant, and equitable consultation in schools and implications for training and practice.
