SE016: New Orleans Welcome Party: A Masquerade Ball for All

Wednesday, February 14, 2024
9:00 PM–12:00 AM CST

  • Cost: Included in Registration

Description

Mardi Gras may officially end on Fat Tuesday for the rest of Big Easy, but we will be extending the party on Wednesday night. The Masquerade Ball for All theme is a nod to the history of masquerade parties in Louisiana during carnival season. Masquerade balls have been around for centuries as a special time to eat, drink, and be merry. The Louisiana School Psychological Association will be giving away Mardi Gras masks and beads for the first 150 attendees, or you can bring your mask and join in on the fun. Dress up or down, no matter, because masquerades are for everyone! Enjoy live music from a local band and dance the night away. Snacks and a cash bar will be available.
