We will identify five internalizing disorders that can have significant impact on a student’s adjustment to school. Then we will discuss everyday intervention to lessen the impact of these disorders on students. Finally, we will discuss effective collaboration with medical teams and community mental health providers to best address these concerns.

Workshop Objectives:

This session will help participants

1. identify and discuss application of evidence-based practice skill set,
2. identify key components in communicating with medical teams, and
3. provide their coworkers with references for advanced knowledge in evidence-based interventions.

Prerequisite Knowledge

Ideally, participants will have awareness level knowledge of internalizing disorder diagnoses and associated evidence-based interventions.
