Small group interventions are effective but underutilized. Learn advocacy strategies to increase your ability to provide effective small group interventions for improving students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic skills. Learn ways to improve your small group implementation and evaluate their impact.

 

Workshop Objectives:

 

This session will help participants

  1. learn strategies for effective small group implementation,
  2. learn efficient means of evaluating the effectiveness of their small group interventions,
  3. gain additional resources for their school-based practice,
  4. learn about effective programs through implementation and outcomes, and
  5. develop advocacy strategies for promoting small groups.

 

Prerequisite Knowledge

Knowledge of a tiered approach to interventions, problem-solving processes, and the basics of measurement.

 

Practical Tools

New strategies and curricula for implementing and evaluating small groups.
