Jim Larson, PhD, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he directed the School Psychology Program for 21 years. He has presented extensively both nationally and abroad and has authored numerous journal articles and book chapters on the subject of youth violence prevention. Dr. Larson is the author of Think First: Addressing Aggressive Behavior in Secondary Schools and coauthor of Helping School Children Cope With Anger: A Cognitive–Behavioral Intervention (with John Lochman, PhD), both published by Guilford Press.
