Wendy Lee Price, PsyD, NCSP

Wendy L. Price, PsyD, NCSP received her Master of Education degree (MEd) in School Psychology in 2000, and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in School Psychology in 2001 from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Upon graduation, Dr. Price was awarded the Vincent Cristiani Endowment Award for Excellence in School Psychology. She completed her doctorate in School Psychology at William James College and graduated in August of 2015, following a year-long clinical internship at Walden Behavioral Care (a residential eating disorders clinic). In her role as a school psychologist at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, Dr. Price is involved in a number of activities, including: assessment, counseling, consultation with parents/faculty/community mental health providers, supervision of school psychology interns, and mentoring of new staff. She is also a member of the Crisis Intervention Team and the Student/Teacher Assistance Team (STAT). She travels around the country, presenting to associations and school districts on eating disorders and self-injurious behaviors. Dr. Price is a Past President of the Massachusetts School Psychologists Association. She served two terms as NASP Delegate from Massachusetts. In February of 2013, Dr. Price was awarded the NASP "Rookie of the Year" Award by NASP President Amy Smith. In 2015, she was elected by her fellow Delegates from the Northeast to represent them on the NASP Board of Directors. That same year Dr. Price was awarded the MSPA 2015 Friend of Children Award. Dr. Price is currently in her second year as NASP Secretary and was just elected NASP President for the 2020–2021 year.
