Scott Woitaszewski, NCSP

Scott A. Woitaszewski, PhD, NCSP, is director of the school psychology program at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls. He earned his doctorate in school psychology from Ball State University in Indiana and has experience as a practicing school psychologist in Minnesota. Dr. Woitaszewski’s scholarly interests include the study of crisis prevention and intervention, emotional and behavioral interventions in schools, educator collaboration, and resilience in children and families. He is cochair of the Wisconsin School Psychologists Association (WSPA) School Crisis Committee and is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists’ (NASP) School Safety and Crisis Response Committee. Dr. Woitaszewski has conducted numerous PREPaRE workshops and other school crisis prevention and intervention presentations locally, regionally, and nationally.
