This session will offer concrete steps to help school psychologists navigate recent policy changes impacting LGBTQ+ populations and find solutions that center the safety and well-being of students and their families. 

 

Learner Objectives:

This session will help participants:

  1. Understand the impact of recent policy changes on school experiences for LGBTQ+ students and families.
  2. Build skills and increase comfort for advocating for LGBTQ+ students within your schools.
  3. Identity at least three action items to improve school safety and inclusion for LGBTQ+ students and families.
