This session provides practical guidance for supporting gender diverse youth through policy shifts, family concerns, and school-based challenges while prioritizing student wellbeing.

Learner Objectives:

This session will help participants:

  1. Identify effective support strategies for gender-diverse youth that can be implemented across diverse school contexts.
  2. Apply ethical and policy considerations to case-based scenarios encountered in current school environments.
  3. Practice communication strategies for working with families and teams through consultation, documentation, and virtual collaboration.
