Dr. Ben Springer will provide strategies to promote optimism and acceptance among team members implementing behavior intervention plans and increase impact on student performance. Evidence-based, ready-to-use tools will be provided.  

Learner Objectives:

This session will help participants:

  1. Design high quality, individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that work.
  2. Select evidence-based tools that build (and leverage) optimism in school teams tasked with managing challenging and dangerous student behavior.
  3. Apply BIPs with their teams within response-to-intervention, multitiered systems of support, and professional learning community frameworks.
