Learner Objectives
This session will help participants…
- identify EF challenges in the classroom and examine the relationships among these challenges and teachers’ use of best EF-supporting practices;
- describe the effectiveness of a series of brief instructional videos on building EF skills and supports for caregivers of ADHD/ASD children;
- describe outcomes for an Unstuck and On Target! (Unstuck) online educators’ training for school staff; and
- describe factors that drive the cost to implement the Unstuck school-based curriculum in schools.
Description
This symposium will present the executive functioning (EF) classroom challenges experienced by children with ADHD or ASD, outcomes of EF intervention trials, and the time cost of the school-based intervention.
