Description

How does animal-assisted therapy (AAT) foster school connectedness and why is school connectedness important to cultivate student mental health and social development? This poster presentation will review and synthesize relevant research literature and provide an AAT implementation roadmap for school psychologists to promote school connectedness. Practitioners will learn how AAT supports school connectedness and will gain a comprehensive guide to implement AAT in their school.
