Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. describe a social justice framework and underlying principles for school psychology practice.
  2. examine the systemic, institutional, and structural factors that lead to educational inequities.
  3. identify strategies for systems-level change and advocacy.


Through interactive lecture and discussion prompts, participants will identify social justice practices to challenge inequitable systems and advocate for students and families with less power and privilege.
