Prospective Student Leaders
Thank you for your interest in serving as a NASP Student Leader. Currently 200+ school psychology graduate education programs participate in the NASP Student Leader program. As a NASP Student Leader, you connect your school psychology graduate education program to the profession by dedicating a few hours per month to the following activities:
- Sharing information and monthly updates with the students in their program
- Serving as point-people in their program for advocacy, school psychology awareness, and NASP activities
- Having opportunities to share perspectives in NASP publications, leading online discussions, and presenting at convention
To get started, view a list of participating programs and identify your program's Faculty Sponsor to ask them about serving for the 2023–2024 year. If your program is not on the list, contact the program director to identify a Faculty Sponsor. They may then nominate you (and up to 1 more Student Leader—max of 2 per year) via the online form.
Note. Either Faculty Sponsors or Student Leaders may complete the form. The form will need to be completed for any new Student Leaders. Returning Student Leaders can email
students@naspweb.org to confirm their participation. Student Leaders must
create a NASP account if they do not have one already.
