The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) created the National School Psychology Certification System (NSPCS) for the purpose of credentialing school psychologists who meet a nationally recognized standard. The NSPCS is open to members of NASP as well as to nonmembers. The administration of the NSPCS is vested under the authority of the National School Psychology Certification Board (NSPCB).
In order to apply for the NCSP, graduates of NASP-Approved programs must ensure that they meet all of the NCSP eligibility requirements and that all of the following information is submitted directly to NASP:
- Completed Application (online)
- Payment of certification application fee (online)
- School Psychologist Praxis Examination score report
Must be sent to NASP electronically, directly from ETS — Score Recipient Code: 1549
- Official graduate transcript (with degree conferral date)
Official graduate transcripts should be sent directly to NASP from the academic institution. Official Transcripts must be emailed to cert@naspweb.org. Do not mail paper copies if your academic institution offers an electronic transcript option.

Note. Official graduate transcripts and ETS Score reports must be provided to NASP from the issuing institution in addition to entering the information in the online application.
