* The Ed.S. program in School Psychology at FIU uses a scientist-practitioner model of training, with emphasis on evidence-based practices and social justice. Faculty are committed in the preparation of graduate students to work in diverse school settings. Applicants to the program may be eligible for various funding opportunities in 1 of 2 ways: (1) Federal training grants (e.g., providing tuition waiver, and stipends for some), or (2) department funding as a graduate assistant, which is offered on a limited basis. The program is offering full-tuition scholarships, fellowships, and stipends for eligible students supported federal training grants: Project CRYSTAL (2023 and 2024) and Project DIG (2023-2027). There are service-related requirements if students are interested in these opportunities. Departmental assistantships are available on a more limited basis. These opportunities provide a stipend for 20 hours of work a week, health benefits, and partial tuition waiver for 9 credit hours in Fall, 9 credit hours in Spring, and 6 credit hours in Summer semesters.
