- summarize extant research related to screening measures' cross-cultural validity and use with racially, ethnically, and linguistically minoritized student populations.
- explain the practical implications of a universal screening measure's diagnostic accuracy in predicting risk across a racially and ethnically diverse group of students.
Description
This symposium will feature three presentations on equity-centered universal mental health screening, describing (a) a conceptual model, (b) a systematic review, and (c) an exemplar empirical study.
