This session will help participants…
- describe the four common metrics used to appraise Written Expression - Curriculum Based Measures (WE-CBM);
- evaluate the amount of time necessary to score third-grade WE-CBM responses; and
- appraise the feasibility of school- or grade-wide screening and progress monitoring using WE-CBM measures within a multitiered system of support.
Description
Schools often do not systematically assess writing given the time needed to score responses. This study will review objective data regarding how long it takes to score responses.
