This session will help participants…

  1. describe how an evidence-based reading intervention supplemented with play fits into the NASP Practice Model;
  2. learn how to use ROI, NAP, CURP, and single-subject design to make evidence-based decisions while conducting interventions; and
  3. gain three strategies to explain to their schools how reading interventions can be enhanced with play-based activities.

Description

Novice and experienced practitioners will learn how to utilize science of reading with play-based activities in an MTSS/RTI framework through single-subject case studies and how to use evidence-based measurement strategies.
