This session will help participants…

  1. gain an understanding of the potential utility for behavior screeners as a data source for academic skills in this population;
  2. learn about the relationship between SEL screeners and academic outcomes; and
  3. see the need for future research with English learner populations and SEL and academic outcomes.

Description

This study is to adds to the literature examining the ability of SAEBRs to predict academic success within a new domain (writing) for English learner students.
