This session will help participants…

  1. learn the components and constructs measured by the ESB and its utility in identifying social communication needs in preschool children.
  2. practice the ESB to prepare for the screening of preschool children with social communication deficits and risk-factors for autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  3. explore interventions and therapies for children when ESB test results are borderline or low.

Description

The key to overcoming social communication difficulties in preschoolers is early detection. Practitioners will learn how to successfully administer the Early Sociocognitive Battery (ESB), interpret results, and select appropriate interventions.
