This session will help participants…

  1. understand the different types of responses that may be elicited by examinees on the Similarities and Vocabulary subtests of the WISC-V;
  2. understand the extent to which systematic rating tendencies (i.e., severity/leniency) may be present on the Similarities and Vocabulary subtests of the WISC-V; and
  3. understand the extent to which systematic rating tendencies (i.e., severity/leniency) can be explained by practitioner experience.

Description

This presentation will explore the extent to which graduate students and practicing school psychologists demonstrate systematic rating tendencies when assigning scores on the Similarities and Vocabulary subtests on the WISC-V.
