  1. identify potential neurocognitive late effects and recognize their impact on school performance.
  2. recognize the importance of long-term educational consultation in the context of the impact of a pediatric oncology diagnosis.
  3. identify the constellation of psychosocial, neurocognitive, and physical sequelae with which pediatric cancer survivors may present.

Description

Presenters will provide information on the neurocognitive and physical sequelae of pediatric cancer, their impact on the educational experience and academic trajectory, and how to encourage and facilitate home–school–hospital partnerships.
