This session will help participants…

  1. understand the scope of extant research regarding housing insecurity in school-age children with disabilities;
  2. identify patterns and trends in service delivery to housing insecure children with disabilities; and
  3. make school- and community-based policy recommendations for inclusion of housing insecure students with disabilities.

Description

Unhoused students with disabilities often experience compounded disadvantages in their lives. Learn how to apply the existing research and law to promote inclusion of these students in schools.
