This session will help participants…

  1. learn about the coping, stress, needed support, and well-being of parents of children with disabilities;
  2. learn strategies to support parents of children with disabilities; and
  3. learn strategies to help parents navigate through virtual learning with their children during unprecedented crisis or severe weather conditions.

Description

The purpose of this study was to evaluate parenting experiences (coping, stress, self-efficacy, etc.) and child behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic for parents with and without children with disabilities.
