  1. enhance our understanding of perceived challenges and discrimination among Asian American youth and college students.
  2. provide suggestions and recommendations of educators to improve their multicultural competencies in terms of working with Asian American students.
  3. advocate for the use of culturally responsive practice among school psychologists.

Description

This symposium includes three studies that focus on different age groups of Asian Americans in terms of their challenges, perceived discrimination, and racialized experiences. Recommendations and suggestions are provided.
