Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. understand the diverse experiences of multiracial individuals in school psychology, both as graduate trainees and practitioners, and be able to identify unique challenges and strengths associated with these experiences.
  2. learn evidence-based strategies to support multiracial students in K–12 schools and gain insights into the practical application of these strategies.
  3. enhance capacity to foster inclusivity in K–12 schools for multiracial students and professionals.

Description

In this session, presenters will explore the uncharted terrain of multiraciality in school psychology. Personal narratives, evidence-based strategies, and insights to better support multiracial students in schools will be shared.
