- gain updated information about the internal structure of the BASC-3 Behavioral and Emotional Screening System (BESS) Student Form;
- compare two factor structure models for the BASC-3 BESS and identify which fits the data best; and
- gain a better understanding of confirmatory factor analysis and its use in validating the internal structure of measures.
Description
Screening tools must be validated to ensure accuracy in decision-making. Confirmatory factor analyses provide updated internal structure evidence for the BASC-3 Behavioral and Emotional Screening System (BESS) Student Form.
