This session will help participants…

  1. gain a better understanding of implementing this novel teacher mentorship intervention in their schools;
  2. receive resources to help them identify stressed teachers;
  3. incorporate stress management components in mentorship interventions; and
  4. understand the barriers to implementing this intervention and discuss practical solutions.

Description

Teaching can be an isolating profession. Our session will describe a novel mentorship program designed for junior teachers to reduce teacher’s stress and improve their sense of self-efficacy.
