This session will help participants…

  1. develop knowledge and understanding around the needs of females with autism and how they can be supported in high school;
  2. develop knowledge and understanding around an internationally applicable model of support for females with autism in high school;
  3. reflect on ways in which a model of support for females with autism can be applied within their practice; and
  4. consider the utility of international research collaboration.

Description

This paper presentation shares findings from an international research collaboration between the United Kingdom and United States exploring school psychologists’ views on support for high school females with autism.
