Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. describe how interprofessional, group-based telementoring can facilitate the use of evidence-based, equitable, and collaborative school mental health services;
  2. identify how a collaborative telementoring approach can improve their capacity to effectively implement the NASP Practice Model;
  3. design a telementoring approach that can be used to elevate diverse perspectives and improve student mental health in their schools; and
  4. adapt telementoring strategies to fit the unique needs of their local contexts.

Description

Schools struggle to meet student mental health needs because of challenges implementing coordinated, evidence-based, and relevant practices among diverse staff. Learn how to use group-based telementoring to alleviate these barriers.
