Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. participants will understand how to integrate family and school psychosocial interventions for children with ADHD.
  2. participants will understand the key components of the Family–School Success (FSS) program and research supporting the intervention.
  3. participants will learn how to deliver family–school interventions using motivational interviewing strategies.
  4. participants will learn skills for how to implement FSS in schools and other settings.
  5. participants will learn how to evaluate outcomes for the FSS program.

Description

This workshop will educate experienced practitioners about evidence-based psychosocial interventions for students with ADHD. Participants will learn how to implement the manualized Family–School Success program and evaluate outcomes.
