Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. increase understanding of the importance of positive psychology interventions in relation to increasing the subjective well-being of autistic youth;
  2. learn strategies for implementation of a positive psychology intervention with autistic youth; and
  3. learn about autistic youth’s perspective on a positive psychology intervention, including youth’s recommendations for change.

Description

This study examined the effectiveness of a positive psychology intervention when utilized with three autistic adolescents. Learn about autistic youth’s perspectives on engaging in a positive psychology intervention.
