This session will help participants…

  1. examine current research related to consultation from a culturally competent approach;
  2. explore outcomes related to culturally competent consultation among students, teachers, and systems; and
  3. consider gaps in research and how these gaps may be applied to future research, and consider the implications of results to apply them to daily practices.

Description

How do we use cultural competence while consulting with teachers? Examine a structured literature review aimed towards learning how culturally competent consultation affects outcomes on learners, teachers, and systems.
