This session will help participants…

  1. discuss the need and effectiveness of both individual and group telepsychotherapy with children and youth;
  2. understand the results of a pilot study of group telepsychotherapy in school settings;
  3. consider and implement procedures for group telepsychotherapy in school settings; and
  4. discuss lessons learned in providing group telepsychotherapy in school settings.

Description

When schools shut down during COVID, students lost access to mental health providers. In this presentation, we will discuss a study of telepsychotherapy completed with students in rural school settings.
