Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. identify skill profiles of dysfluent readers referred for Tier 2 intervention targeting text reading fluency;
  2. select additional assessments, beyond oral reading fluency, for Tier 2 reading intervention; and
  3. consult with intervention providers regarding potential intervention targets for dysfluent readers.

Description

Dysfluent readers with adequate decoding skills may vary in the underlying skills that promote reading fluency. Attendees will learn about the implications for assessment and intervention.
