This session will help participants…

  1. gain knowledge about common practices (facilities and barriers) when selecting mental and behavioral interventions.
  2. learn how a discreate event simulation (DES) software can be used in school settings to aid MTSS implementation, while also receiving access to the free software and user guide; and
  3. learn about the application of a discrete event simulation software and how it can support MTSS implementation and resource alignment.

Description

MTSS administrators and psychologists must balance staffing shortages and resource allocation ambiguity to meet all students' needs. Practitioner perspectives on coordinating mental health supports using discreate event simulation web-based software.
