Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. discover that using the Circles curriculum may lower office discipline referrals, improve student/student relationships and student/adult relationships, improve academic achievement, and promote higher levels of emotional safety for students and staff;
  2. learn about strengths and limitations of implementing Circles as a tool for creating, maintaining, and repairing relationships in an elementary classroom; and
  3. learn skills necessary for having vulnerable and difficult conversations with students and other adults.

Description

Learners will acquire an understanding of restorative practices, materials used to design a class-wide intervention, and modeling of data analysis across multiple measures to impact student growth.
