Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. learn how to evaluate validity evidence presented in test manuals and peer-reviewed research to make data-based decisions, consistent with Domain 1 of the NASP Practice Model;
  2. learn how to construct propositions and gather validity evidence to support their own uses and interpretations of test scores; and
  3. get access to a matrix template that will help them organize and evaluate test score validity evidence in their own practice.

Description

We will review the basics of test score validity and present participants with some useful frameworks and tips for evaluating validity evidence.
