Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. learn mindfulness interventions as a means to enhance student and faculty well-being, emotional regulation, and overall mental health;
  2. integrate mindfulness practices into the school curriculum and/or daily routines, promoting mindfulness as a lifelong skill;
  3. create a supportive and inclusive school culture that prioritizes students' social–emotional well-being; and
  4. evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions through ongoing monitoring and assessment.

Description

Well-being is the foundation of academic and professional success, with reciprocal interaction between adults and students. By teaching mindfulness, adults can improve school climate, well-being, and mental health.
