  1. learn best practices to enhance recruitment and retention of racially and ethnically minoritized (REM) students and faculty in school psychology.
  2. learn new practices related to mentoring, creating counter-spaces, and cultivating culturally affirming classrooms and programs.
  3. understand structural and institutional-level strategies that promote or undermine the successful recruitment and retention of REM students and faculty.

Description

This symposium will highlight best practices related to recruitment and retention of diverse graduate students and faculty in school psychology that can inform practice, research, and policy.
