  1. address the specific considerations when analyzing universal screening data for emergent bilingual students;
  2. create local norms to support accurate identification of students struggling with reading instead of language proficiency; and
  3. aid in making informed and equitable data-based decisions for emergent bilingual students.

Description

This study will present practitioners with a model to develop local norms based on English language proficiency in order to accurately identify emergent bilingual students with reading difficulties.
