This session will help participants…

  1. gain knowledge of cognitive cues,
  2. gain awareness about using the participatory culture-specific intervention model;
  3. gain knowledge about how to evaluate discipline disproportionality; and
  4. gain understanding about discipline disproportionality after a System-2 Cognitive Cue was implemented.

Description

In order to prompt reflective behavioral decision-making, teachers were prompted with a cue. We will review how a participatory culture-specific intervention approach was applied and present racial discipline disproportionality indices.
